Accessibility

We aim to make this website usable across devices, input methods, and assistive technologies.
Last updated July 12, 2026

Scope

This statement covers the Polar Realm company website and its public pages. Linked products and third-party services have their own accessibility status and policies.

Implemented features

  • Semantic headings, landmarks, lists, buttons, links, and status text.
  • A skip link, visible keyboard focus, logical focus order, and keyboard-operable navigation.
  • Layouts that reflow without required horizontal scrolling at narrow widths and high zoom.
  • Text and interface contrast designed for WCAG 2.2 AA thresholds.
  • Motion reduced when the operating system requests reduced motion.
  • Product status, errors, and boundaries communicated with text rather than color alone.

Testing approach

The repository includes automated accessibility checks, keyboard and viewport regression checks, and a manual test plan. Automated tools cannot prove complete conformance. Independent screen-reader and disabled-user testing remains necessary before a formal conformance claim.

Known limitations

No known blocking limitation is intentionally accepted in the company-site code. Product sites reached through external links are outside this statement and may have separate limitations.

Response and alternatives

Polar Realm targets an initial response to a blocking accessibility report within one business day and a correction or equivalent temporary path within five business days. Actual timing can depend on scope, third-party ownership, and safety, but the reporter should receive a status update rather than silence. When a fix cannot be delivered immediately, Polar Realm will seek an equivalent way to provide the requested public information without requiring disclosure of unnecessary personal information. To report a barrier, email polarrealm@gmail.com with the page URL, task, device, browser, and assistive technology when possible.
